Free Shakespeare in the Park 2024!
Richmond Shakespeare Festival presents the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company touring production of Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, at Jack Elstro Plaza (47 N 6th St, Richmond, IN 47374) on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 7:00 PM. Food trucks at 6:00 PM. Free Admission. Please bring a chair or blanket.
Story: While grappling with the grief of his father’s murder, Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark, is thrust into a web of deceit, betrayal, and impending war. Not only has his mother married his father’s brother, but his uncle is the murderer. This summer, become immersed in the intrigue of Shakespeare’s Hamlet — a riveting blend of passion, ghosts, and royal drama that promises to heat up your summer nights with gripping intensity.

Parking: No problem! There is a parking lot with handicap spaces adjacent to the performance area in Jack Elstro Plaza. Enter the lot from N 6th St or N 7th St.
